ABOUT US:

We are the Johnson family and we believe God had called us as missionary church planters. I met my wife at Heartland Baptist Bible College where I graduated from with a degree in missions. From a young age both of us felt the call of missions in our lives. I have felt especially burdened for inner city church planting in Hispanic cities for a long time. Upon graduation God opened the door for an internship with Jack and Joy Loveday in Madrid Spain. We are thrilled to serve in Spain and we are sent out of the Arden Road Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas.

ABOUT NATHANIEL:

I was saved at the young age of 5 years old. It was my mother who led me to Christ. I am a third generation missionary. My grandparents are missionaries to Brazil and my parents serve as missionaries through Wings Bearing Precious Seed. As a teenager I had the opportunity to go on multiple missions trips. Through those times and through classes at Heartland God has burdened my heart for inner city church planting, especially to Hispanic communities.

ABOUT MILLY:

I made a profession of faith at five years old, without a true understanding of sin and its consequence. I struggled with assurance of salvation until I was twelve, when I made the decision to surrender my heart to Jesus and accept His free gift of salvation. A few years later, during a missions trip, I surrendered to the call of missions on my life. I attended Heartland Baptist Bible College, and the Lord used this time in my life to train me in ministry as well as lead me to my husband.

ABOUT SPAIN:

Spain is the fourth most populous country in the EU with a population just over 47 million. The country has a rich culture, with strong historical significance. The people are lovely and friendly, but they are deeply rooted in Catholicism. Sixty-one percent of Spain self adheres to Catholicism, while a lot of that is nominal, it still has a strong grasp on the country. Also recent polls suggest that over thirty percent of Spaniards are irreligious. People seem to be seeing errors in Catholicism, but who will show them the truth?
